2023 Toyota Sequoia MPG – Looking for a family-friendly Toyota SUV with excellent fuel economy ratings? Is the 2023 Toyota Sequoia fuel efficient? What’s the difference between the All-New 2023 Toyota Sequoia? The Toyota Sequoia has been a full-size, three-row SUV. That will not change with the arrival of the new generation for the 2023 model year. The rest follows suit: the new Sequoia is far more modern than the second-generation Sequoia it replaces, which has been on the market for more than a decade. The most recent Toyota ratings will provide you with the fuel efficiency required for your commute.
2023 Toyota Sequoia Engine and Transmission
The Sequoia comes standard with the iForce MAX hybrid powertrain, which is available as an option in the Tundra pickup. This powertrain combines a twin-turbo 3.4-liter V-6 engine and an electric motor to generate 437 horsepower and 583 pound-feet of torque. The Sequoia SUV gets the same 10-speed automatic transmission as the Tundra. Rear-wheel drive is standard, with four-wheel drive available on most models and standard on the off-road-focused TRD Pro. Off-road features include upgraded Fox dampers, a front skid plate, a locking rear differential, and forged 18-inch wheels with 33-inch tires. The 2023 Toyota Sequoia mpg ratings are also quite excellent.
2023 Toyota Sequoia Performance
Many were pleased with the Sequoia’s comfortable ride and quiet cabin during their initial test drive. Even on rough and broken pavement, the ride is exceptionally well-damped and well-controlled. The steering is quite light — almost numb — but that’s standard for any full-size SUV nowadays. It was accurate and simple to use, keeping track of long sweeps and empty interstates without much intervention from me. The brakes are strong and consistent, and despite some body roll and pitching in quick maneuvers, the Sequoia simply provides an excellent driving experience that will please cross-town commutes as well as eat up interstate miles.
Toyota Sequoia MPG by Trim Level in 2023
Whatever model you choose for your drives, every Sequoia is powered by a powerful 3.4L V6 engine paired with an electric motor. You can also count on excellent Toyota ratings. The only significant factor to consider is whether you want rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive.
